Feedback or Concerns
Overview
The Department of Design is committed to fostering a respectful and thoughtful exhibition environment. If you have any feedback for the design department or concerns regarding artwork displayed in the design galleries, you may send mail for review.
Submitting Feedback or Concerns
Feedback or concerns must be submitted in writing and include the following:
- Your name, signature, and date
- For Concerns: Identification of the artwork (title and artist)
- A clear description of the feedback or concern
- A return address or contact information
Note: If a concern is made verbally (e.g., by phone), you will be directed to submit it in written form to begin the review process.
Concerns Review Process
Once a written concern is received, it will be handled as follows:
- A copy of the concern is shared with the Department Chair and Gallery Manager.
- The Gallery Manager and Gallery Committee review the concern and the work in question.
- The committee meets to discuss the concern and determine an appropriate course of action.
- A unanimous decision is required for the work to remain on display.
- If a unanimous decision is not reached, the work will be removed.
- Decisions are documented and shared with the Department Chair.
Concern Outcome
Concluding the reviewal process the you will be notified of the outcome in writing and the artist will be notified if any action is taken.
